I must be honest! I took my Mom to Aspen on 7/11/17 because of the reviews I read on line and I was not impressed. The dentist we met with was very nice but the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The reviews I read said that the dentist and office manager made the office feel like a stress free and family environment. The office manger was on vacation and I met with another manager Linda. She was not pleasant and we felt as if she talked down to us as if we could not afford the treatment. We left and I told my Mom that we would see another dentist. We decided to give Aspen a second chance. Dr. Williams and Eric made us feel comfortable and this visit lived up to the experience we were looking for. My Mom has lived in Owings Mills for over 20 years and this is the first "pleasant" dentist experience.
Made an appointment for a cleaning which they did not do. I was told that since I was A new patient, I would need x-rays, meet with the dentist and meet with The dental technician. They did not clean my teeth instead they told me I would need to speak with their office manager Eric. He told me he had an opening in the afternoon of the same day but I wasn't available. Eric told me he would call me back to schedule a cleaning. I have not received a phone call back yet. All I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned and now I have to make a second appointment? The process is very inconvenient for patients with busy schedules
I have never experience such unprofessional staff at an dentist office in my life. The dentist and dental assistant was very polite, however, none of the staff that handles insurance(Lacy) nor the office mgr (Kelly) knew what they were doing! They gave me a quote for my treatment which was estimated at $2100 without contacting my insurance carrier to see exactly what my copay and benefits are! Instead Kelly offered me a credit card option, in which they pull your credit. Why would I spend unnecessary money when I have insurance? They are a bunch of criminals! Besides they have a ton of reviews for the Owings Mills location and they just opened!
New, clean & modern establishment. Equipped with TVs in each room. The staff were friendly. However, my appointment was for 6pm. I arrived at 5:45 per their request & completed paperwork prior to my appointment time of 6pm but still didn't get seen until 6:40. It bothers me that you can have an appointment & get charged or even turned away if you're more than a few minutes late but the doctors can be an hour or so late & you might get an apology at best. And they expect prompt payment of course. For my 1st visit, this was disappointing. Again everyone was nice & I love the modern look & feel of the establishment. If I could I would rate them 2.5 stars
DO NOT GO HERE, if you do happen to go DO NOT AGREE on a financial assistance credit card after being talked into one we then decided not to use one and never had any work done. With that being said they still charged us $1,500.00 after complaining they removed $1,000 and still have $500.00 left on credit card which was reported to the company. We now have to file a Fraud report regarding this. They are a Lying, and deceiving company with OVERPRICED work and poor business ethics. Recommending to take your business elsewhere.
