I retrieve both items I came to return and left the store. I love Tjmaxx but I recommend never coming to this location.
This place is amazing!!!! It's like going to the mall on Black Friday!!!! I got a gorgeous area rug and some clothes for back to school!!!! Would give it 10 stars if I could!!!!
Horrific customer service. I’m a level-head person who doesn’t get riled up easy. I went into the store to return 2 garments (a black shirt and a fuzzy cardigan). Waited 20 min with 3 cashiers and only 2 people in front of me. Once at the counter I was accused of wearing the black shirt because there was a strand of hair and lint (from the cardigan) on it. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and created a hug scene while inspecting the garment. She even started smelling it he shirt. The manager refused the return on grounds that I wore the garment even though the tags were attached and not even crinkled. I’ve never been so insulted to have my integrity attacked. Even several other customers were disgusted about how this Female Manager behaved.
All of the staff, except for ONE PERSON were all extremely rude. If you want to talk about the customers... don't do it in less then ear shot, and don't be nasty about it. Im sorry we made you stay 2 minutes after closing. But can assure I will not be returning, this is not the first time I have encountered rudeness from the staff at this location.
The staff is always pleasant. The merchandise is top quality. The store is family friendly.
Love this place! I always find that special something that I wasn't even looking for!
Update: I drove directly to the store in Towson. The cashiers quickly allowed me to return both items...and no sniffy was involved.
