It was Ok. Neutral with my experience. Was not overly impressed but equally, I was not displeased. Pros: Store was clean. Cons: access to the shopping carts were quite annoying. For example, there was no one on the outside to help you load the car. The problem with that is you have to leave your UNATTENDED, already purchased groceries on the curb as u get your car. My thoughts.....If you don't trust your customers with your carts, why should I do so with my unattended groceries? In the least, someone should be on the exterior of the store to assist your customers.
Today, staff was not at customer service so a customer held up 2 express checkout lines for 15 minutes for meat prices and a coupon. I left without the items I needed because I refuse to spend money at this Safeway location. There service and food quality has declined. Thank God for Wegmans, GiANT and ALDI.
It's Christmas weekend I stopped at a supermarket down the street from Safeway they were fully staffed the cashiers were pleasant I was able to pay for my items and leave the store I came to Safeway one cashier about 15 people in the line and the cashier was very unpleasant I don't understand how Safeway plans to keep business if they can't keep up with their competition so sad
The store manager is very rude and has poor customer service skills. I went there last Friday for the $5 specials and the lights were out. The food temperatures were dropping fast and the response I received from the staff and manager was "the lights have only been out for 20mins, the food is fine." They used old boxes to cover the open freezer cases and trash bags. I recommend not buying here for at least a few weeks. I hope no one gets sick. I was still able to shop for a few non perishable items but an employee rudely walked up to me and several other customers requesting we leave after the registers stopped working.

I hope that the nearby supermarkets causes this place to shut down. December 2016, I tried to get a decorated cake for a birthday party. I tried to make a request 1 1/2 months in advance. The bakers were rude. They refused to make the cake. I am naturally calm and polite. I felt that my kindness made their attitudes worst. They felt comfortable being harsh towards customers. Then, the baker lied and said that she could not make it because she was going on vacation.
