This place is amazing. Prepared food and all the healthy food choices I love and the not so healthy. If I had to say there was something missing. It would be their employees. While they where not rude, they where also not personable either. A simple hello or did you find everything okay? Having said that, this place is clean, they always have fresh prepared food and it is always well stocked.
Didn't get thank service at Safeway seafood department down the street when their lobster tails were on sale a few weeks ago.
Wegmans was a grocery chain I became very familiar with when I moved to upstate NY. Good food and great service. Food is still good, sometimes the selection quality will vary in produce more than I like, but overall it's one of the best stores to find what you need. Particularly noteworthy is the solid line of organic and kosher food that is far and above everyone else save maybe Trader Joe's. I'd only really ding this Wegmans on service. While they have excellent cashiers, their meat and deli depts seem to always have apathetic employees more interested in cleaning and closing down for the night than helping the customer. I never had a problem with service at a Wegmans until this one in Owings Mills MD.
Love this place. I always find new and interesting things. The family size products are frequently very cost-effective. Also, IMHO, best fish department in Pikesville/OM area. By far.
The marinated meats they have are good. But the popular ones sell fast. I had to go back a few times for this brown sugar chicken breast (good eats).
Always love it here. The sales her are good for the entire month. They also usually have better prices then some other stores in the area.
I have not got anything from the burger bar but heard good things. The buffet food has alot of options and does taste good. Cost about $10 a pound for the takeout buffet.
I needed 5 lobsters tails instead of 4 as packaged on sale for $35.00 and the guy in the seafood department wrapped one more for me so I could have 5 for my family's dinner tonight.
Plan ahead cause it is big and you will circle around the store looking for something. I've been there quite often and I still get lost at times.
