Very quiet and peaceful there, nice trails animal friendly they do have deers there but its safe.
This place is a perfect place to contemplate the sun set. For those who like the quietness of the nature or hacking, you won't be deceived. There are always people on the trail, so, you are pretty see safe out there. However, you should not drop your guard either.
The park rangers are exceptionally rude, close the park early for their own convenience, even camp out at the overlook to yell at patrons instead of posting signs among many other actions that make an otherwise good park a terrible experience. Consider donating your money and time to well run parks like Irvine Nature Center and/or Oregon Ridge Park which are both exceptional
