Booked to have my dog groomed a week in advance. I go to their vetco clinic to get the rabies shot for my dog 3 days before my scheduled date because it's required in order to get grooming. I get there with the collar tag they gave me with the specific number on it saying it lasts all of 2017 and they turn me away saying they need the actual paper work and I would have to reschedule another week later. It's my first time going to a petco after usually going to petsmart for my grooming. This store nor this chain will get another dime from me again. And the groomer was far from helpful or reasonable. She basically treated my time like it wasn't a concern or that I should simply let it go. Petsmart will now be my permanent groomer as I've had no problems there.
The employee that "assisted" me and I am using the term loosely was condescending and tried to tell me that aspen bedding is bad for guinea pigs. My boyfriend has had guinea pigs as pets for probably longer than that employee has been alive! It's pine and cedar bedding that is not good for GPs due to the aromatic oils in it that can cause respiratory problems. Anyway, if I had had a little more coffee I would have argued with the guy, but I paid (for my ASPEN bedding) and left. My boyfriend just called and the employee was rude to him on the phone too. I'm sticking to Petsmart from now on unless a district manager would feel like contacting me.
A worker there was very rude in the fish department. The lady doesn't even know what kind animalsi had in my life. When I picking out the fishshe wasnt too kind either. What she said was uncalled for. The store is alright to shop but the worker had a bad attitude
I was in the store this evening purchasing snacks for my dog. The customer service at this store is terrible. The employees are inattentive and rude as they were talking negatively to customers about other customers. And it is sad that I will not be shopping there because my dog loves their treats! I will also tell my friends to not shop at Petco in Owings Mills.
this is actually my favorite pet store. i met this nice young man named Antone to ask about how i could take good care of my animals. Antone gave me great customer service and was very polite and informative on how i could better take care of my animals. he was very professional and detailed. i will most definitely be visiting this petco again very soon.
