This place, however, charges $11 for their hot breakfast! I'm sure it's great, but it's also insulting. And naturally, you don't learn about that until after you're checked in. I went down this morning & aside from the "restaurant," there was a display identical to every basic continental display I've ever seen before... 3 types of cereal, milk, bread, bagels, pastries, etc.
Very comfortable beds, great amenities, wonderful staff... All excellent attributes, but realistically these are also expected attributes at $120/night. So, all is as expected with one huge exception... Breakfast.
We got married here. The staff was fantastic. My wife stayed overnight and the room was clean and comfortable. She had breakfast the next day and enjoyed that as well.
Stayed there many times. The room was great. Breakfast is also one of the best hotel breakfast at any hotel
I thought, "oh they're totally redeemed! You only have to pay for the hot breakfast?" No. You have to pay for EVERYTHING. I literally paid $3 (the cost of an entire box of cereal) for a tiny bowl of cereal.
This place is side by side with a Hampton Inn. They're practically the same hotel, so our deciding criteria was (1) a hot complementary breakfast (this usually means a waffle maker at minimum, or a couple displays of things like scrambled eggs, sausage, etc at best, PLUS all the other normal stuff), and (2) price. We went with this one because they both advertised a hot breakfast, and this one's advertised price was slightly lower.
It's just REALLY disappointing & insulting, and we regret staying here despite how GREAT everything else is at this hotel. Seriously, if you don't care about the breakfast rant I just went on, then the rest of the value is excellent here! We don't plan on staying here again, unfortunately
Nearly every hotel - even the sketchy, $50/night ones - offers SOME kind of continental breakfast. It's not until you get to the more expensive, higher range ($150-$175+) hotels that it's not unusual to have to pay for breakfast/room service (which this hotel does surprisingly have, by the way... but not for breakfast
Clean rooms, modern appliances, and comfortable bed. The hotel staff was friendly and the fittness room was very nice. However, the walls were paper thin. I could hear conversations the guests one room over were having. Also, in the middle of the night it became very windy. The wind made a lot of noise and made it very difficult to sleep. I have never had a problem with wind noise at any other hotel I've been to.
Was greeted by wonderful front desk staff at arrival. Very friendly and accommodating. I had missed breakfast and was too early for dinner but they went out of their way to make me an omelet and toast. Everybody here is wonderful!!
