I walked into MB of Owings Mills without an appointment coming straight from a bad experience at an Audi dealership across the street so I already was in a bad mood. Didn't take long for Dylan to turn that around - he was knowledgeable, honest and a delightful person.
Dylan, Robb and Brett made the magic happen. They got me in the car I wanted at the price I needed. We had some bumps along the process (due to lack of inventory) but they quickly addressed those issues and found me the car I wanted. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership - really will never go anywhere else and I am pretty hard to impress!
I have never written a review of a car dealer before but felt that the service I received deserved it. Jason Scarlett was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely care. We negotiated a fair price, with no gamesmanship. Fran King was very pleasant and finished the paperwork side of the transaction seamlessly. Finally, Brett Fader, the sales manager, was also extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this dealership and Jason Scarlett, in particular, as a sales consultant.
I didn't really feel sincerity of their apologizing words by offering cheap gas.
I was assured that the vehicle was available over the email as well as over the phone just before I left for the dealership, which was 40 miles away with traffic.
So I don't recommend Mile One dealerships.

The sales manager told me that there are "flaws in their system" that the sales person doesn't know whether the vehicle in their own inventory is available or not.
Recently, I have contacted this dealership with interests in GLC.
I suggest to any potential customers in this dealership that you have to skip the sales person and go directly to the sales manager for the availability of cars you are interested in because of their acknowledged flaws in their system.
What made my experience at this dealership even worse was that the sales manager tried to make up for their unacceptable mistake by offering a few gallons of gasoline.
However, they changed their words as soon as I arrived and told me that the car was not available from the first place.
By the way, I had a similar frustrating experience in one of their co-owned or co-managed dealerships in under the name of "Mile One".
That sounded like a scam to me to bring more customers to their dealership at a Mercedes Benz dealership, which I couldn't accept.
Mo Faraz was very friendly and great to work with. No pressure at all and the entire process start to finish was stress free and enjoyable
I searched the inventory in advance and I contacted the sales person for the availability of a car I was interested in before my visit.
But I had a pretty disappointing experience from the sales staff.
I'm not sure how long they had these flaws but those flaws made their sales members make false claims to their customers and customers waste time and money, more importantly lose faith in the brand.
